Andrée-Anne Grosset

Andrée-Anne Grosset is a medical biologist and postdoctoral fellow at the research center of CHUM (CRCHUM) under the supervision of Dominique Trudel and Frédéric Leblond. She obtained her PhD at INRS-Institut Armand-Frappier in 2016 and a master degree at the Université de Montréal in 2010 with specialization in cancer biology. She has multidisciplinary skills including techniques in histopathology, cellular and molecular biology, microscopy, proteomics, and mouse model research.

At the CRCHUM, she leads two main research projects. The first aims to integrate Raman micro-spectroscopy into the pathology workflow. See an explanation video here. The second project consists of the development of three-dimensional in vitro models of cancers. During her career, she received several prizes for oral and poster presentations, fellowships (Mitacs Elevate and FRQS), and research grants (IVADO, Bayer/CUOG).
